in memory of our first home

Our first home after we got married was way out in the boonies, in Sham Tseng. It was a tiny flat, but it was in a very quiet and, to my way of thinking, romantic, part of Hong Kong. There was a beach a minute from where we lived, and on our way home, the most beautiful views. The area is known for roast goose - in our tiny neighborhood, we had four or five competing roast goose restaurants, and not much else. It was in such a remote area that most places wouldn't deliver to our flat, not even McDonald's. Driving out to Tsing Yi for breakfast at McDonald's used to be a special treat!
That's Sea Crest Villa in the distance - our first home!

Two days before Wawa was born, we moved into our current home. We love it because it's a bit bigger and because it's far more convenient (yes, there's a McDonald's downstairs, and more importantly, we live right by the grandparents!), but sometimes I still miss our first home.
